Healing with Shamanic Art & Halamanism
What is shamanic art?
Shamanic art is a form of communication– transcendental messages from consciousness and subconsciousness, from dimensions within, without, and beyond expressed through art.
Healing with Shamanic Art (facilitated by Katuuran Lyn Pacificar) is a container of ritual that explores the depths of your inner Universe through shamanic techniques, meditation, movement, and all forms of expression to create manifested masterpieces of the vision work that you will be processing and downloading in the duration of our class. This spring session is integrating Halamanism – our connection to the plant realm through the asserting and reclaiming of Philippine plant medicine rooted in animistic practices.
All sessions will be held over Zoom, and begin Saturday, March 25, until Saturday, June 17, 2023, final presentation day.
Times:
3/25 - 6/3 10 am to 1:30 pm (3.5 Hours)
6/17 10 am to 2:30 pm (4.5 Hours)
Exact dates of each session: 3/25, 4/1, 4/15, 4/29, 5/13, 5/20, 6/3, 6/17
Your enrollment includes office hours with Katuuran Lyn and other cohort members. Dates TBA.
You will learn about:
- Art fundamentals and materials
- Setting up your environment for sacred success and creation
- Working with plant partners and plant communication
- Exploring your environment and the language of nature
- Shamanic Self-care
- Creating art from nature
- Plant medicine making & preparation for journey work (fasting & silent retreat)
The last day will be a presentation of your work, sharing your experiences, and celebration.
Course fee: $1100
Required materials are the responsibility of the student to obtain.
This container will only accept a maximum of 13 students. Register by March 18 11:59 pm to secure your spot.
