Burning guava leaves was born from Lyn Pacificar’s family tradition — a practice she learned through her grandparents and began teaching to her family and community as a way of reconnecting with Filipino traditional folk healing for more than a decade.
When Herbalaria first created guava leaf smudge bundles in 2018, the intention was never simply to replace another plant. It was to remember our own.
