Do you offer pick-up options?

Yes, we offer Herbalaria Home pickup as a convenient option at check-out for our local customers or if you happen to be in town, let us know!  We will have your purchase ready for you at a designated time.  Make sure to include your e-mail and phone number!


Where do I pick up my purchase if you are an online store?

You can pick up your purchase at the Herbalaria Home, located at 1139 N. Edgemont St., Los Angeles, CA 90029.  You will be emailed or texted a time and date when your Herbalaria products are ready to go home with you.


What are your payment methods?

We accept a variety of payment methods, including major credit cards, PayPal, and other secure online payment options. There is also Shop Pay, which allows you to make monthly payments on your purchases.


What is Shop Pay?

Shop Pay offers you the option to pay in full at checkout, or to split your purchase into regular payments with Shop Pay Installments, both online and in store. Installment options vary by store and can be used on orders over $50 USD, including discounts, shipping, and taxes.  When you select Shop Pay as your payment method at checkout, it securely stores your payment and shipping information.  This means you won't need to enter your details every time you make a purchase from a store that supports Shop Pay.  

While you can use Shop Pay without an account, creating one offers additional benefits.  With a Shop Pay account, you can easily track orders, save shipping information, and access order history.


Do you have a physical storefront?

We are an online-only e-commerce store.  We do not have physical shopping locations or brick-and-mortar stores.  


Where are you located?

We operate out of the Herbalaria Home, located in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, original unceded indigenous territory of the Tongva people. 


Can I see or test products before making a purchase?

Unfortunately, we do not have physical stores where you can see or test products in person.  However, we provide detailed product descriptions, images, and customer reviews on our website to help you make informed decisions.


Can I make changes to an order I already placed?

Yes, you can.  However, it's important to act quickly as order processing and shipping may begin shortly after you've made your purchase.

To request changes to your order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible at info@herbalaria.com.  Be sure to provide your order number and details about the changes you'd like to make.


Are your products all natural and organic?

We are committed to offering products that are made from natural and organic ingredients whenever possible.  We prioritize sustainability and quality in our selections.


Are your products vegan?

No, we are not an exclusively vegan company, but MOST of our products are vegan-friendly and are indicated as vegan on the labels.


Why are you not completely vegan?

We believe in bees and the use of beeswax.  By sourcing beeswax and supporting bee-friendly practices, we aim to contribute to the conservation of these vital pollinators and the ecosystems they inhabit.  In addition, we utilize culturally significant traditional ingredients that are not considered vegan.  Products that are not vegan are our balms and manifestation oils.


Are your products gluten free?

Yes.  We do not add any gluten to our products.


Do your products contain any parabens or phthalates?

No, they do not contain added parabens or phthalates.


Are there nuts or nut ingredients in your products?

No.  Our products do not contain nuts or anything nut-derived as intentional ingredients.


Are your products cruelty-free?

We are committed to cruelty-free and ethical practices.  We do not test on animals.  Ever. 


Do your products contain fragrances?

We use essential oils as an added scent to some of our products.  We have one  product (DIWA Mangosteen Face Elixir) which contains fragrance that is considered skin-safe and is vanillin free.


What should I do if I experience skin irritation or allergies after using your products?

If you experience any adverse reactions, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. You can also contact our customer support team for assistance.


Can I use your products if I have a medical skin condition or are undergoing specific treatments?

Is your packaging recyclable?

While we prioritize recyclable materials and many of our packaging materials are suitable for household recycling programs, some packaging components may not be recyclable due to specific product requirements.  In such cases, we aim to use minimal non-recyclable materials, which can be creatively upcycled or reused.  We encourage you to check the recycling guidelines in your local area to ensure proper disposal.


What other sustainability initiatives are you implementing?

We are involved in various sustainability initiatives including: ethically sourcing and growing our own ingredients, composting organic waste, reducing water usage through drip systems and rain barrel catchments, and utilizing solar energy to power Herbalaria’s operations.  Customers also have the option of paying for carbon neutralizing at checkout! 

We apply principles of agroecology to our practices, from creating food forest layers that support a thriving garden from which we harvest our ingredients, establishing water and soil conservation techniques, adopting organic gardening methods, and passing down of traditional knowledge to the next generation.
