The "Bayabas Guava Amulet of Fertility and Abundance" is an exclusive art piece crafted by Katuuran Lyn Pacificar.  It is made with real, sustainably harvested guava fruit from Herbalaria’s own sacred Mama Guava tree. Through an extensive, meticulous preservation process, the fruit is halved to reveal its intricate interior, with its natural seeds perfectly intact. The inner core and exterior is artistically painted, sealed, and adorned with shimmering, real freshwater golden green rice pearls that bring luminescence to the whole design.  

The guava fruit amulet is centered around apple green and chestnut-colored river stones, elegantly punctuated by luxurious 18k gold-plated beads, clasp, and findings.

Guava: Guavas are well-known throughout the world where guavas exist to represent abundance, healing, and fertility.  In traditional folklore, guavas were consumed by women desiring pregnancy and utilized as a powerful spiritual shield to clear away lingering death energies after attending funerals.  In addition, as documented in Doreen G. Fernandez’s seminal book, Fruits of the Philippines, the Pinatubo Aeta people traditionally wore guava fruit necklaces as sacred amulets to ward off malicious entities.

Care Instructions for Your Amulet

Shield from Moisture and Chemicals: Always remove the necklace before showering, swimming, or exercising.  Water can seep into the organic structure or damage the delicate settings holding the pearls.

Apply Products First: Perfumes, hairsprays, lotions, and essential oils can erode the 18k gold plating and react chemically with the preserved guava fruit. Let all body products dry completely before putting the necklace on.

Gentle Cleaning Only: Clean the piece by wiping it gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.

What to Avoid: Never use liquid jewelry cleaners, harsh detergents, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive polishing cloths. These will strip the gold plating and ruin the artistic paintwork inside the fruit.
