Description

Rich in color and movement, the Blue Cloisonné and Agong Earrings pair luminous cobalt-blue cloisonné beads with layered, handcrafted brass agong-inspired discs.

 

The cloisonné beads feature intricate gold outlining and colorful organic and floral motifs, creating a jewel-like focal point above the warm, textured brass.  The layered brass elements radiate outward like the sun, adding dimension and movement to the earrings.

 

The color blue is traditionally associated with calm, clarity, intuition, and spiritual protection.

 

Brass agong medallions act as a protective shield against evil spirits, while also echoing the rich musical heritage and cultural significance of the agong found throughout the Philippines. 


Together, the blue cloisonné and agong create an adornment that speaks to clarity, protection, presence, and the power of sound.

 

Each earring is finished with a gold-plated stainless steel ear wire hook.
